Live From the South of France

  |   Lifestyle/Travel   |   No comment

First off my heart goes out to all of those in Nice whom had to deal with the recent tragedies. I was literally just there on a backpacking trip with two of my good friends. After seeing the news this definitely made me reflect on the smallest of joys and be thankful of my life, the good and the bad.

The Famous Promenade des Anglais

Nice just so happens to be one of my top 5 destinations because it just has everything that I love about a city. The Beach of course, views, charm, culture and a sexy vibe. In lieu of the terrible tragedy that has taken place, I have managed to grab some of what Nice France has to offer!

Fragrances!! Ahh yess!! I believe that luxury and your senses have a strong correlation. Luxury is not just a word to describe things; it makes you feel, smell and vibe. I’m in the search of the perfect perfume and ladies, you know how daunting that can be. I want a sexy sophisticated smell with sweet and mysterious notes to evoke nostalgia.

France is known for producing Lavender and it’s evident in the streets and little shops that hold a variety of goods like soap, body butters, perfumes, and more. In addition to Lavender, France is an ideal place to visit if looking for any fragrance, as it is known for producing a variety of perfumes with Rose, Jasmine and is the home of the perfume industry. It was only right to make finding the perfect scent a part of my mission in France.

A few traveling samples.

If you are in the market for a great fragrance, please stop by the Molinard in France’s town center. Famous for it’s family owned heritage, you can have created, a very special fragrance for yourself! Check out their site http://Molinard.com

They have a museum on display with information of the process and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The late Queen Victoria even shopped here in the 1800’s!!

Situated just between the Promenade and town center on a cute little corner, it’s hard to miss the modern yet charming shop when taking a stroll along the cobblestone streets.

Please make it a point to indulge in the sampling of fragrances along the Cote d’Azur during your next stay in France. You wont regret it!
