The people have chosen…Jeremy Scott is here for the culture. Here to embrace the youth, and pop-culture while giving them what they didn’t know they wanted. Futuristic fashion that represents now. It is his bold and fearless attitude displayed in his designs that is so magnetic! He continues to empower us all through his custom designs on the red carpet, noteworthy collections (Moschino and Jeremy Scott), and contagious personality.

Met Gala

Let’s have a moment of silence for that masterpiece Jeremy Scott blessed Cardi B with at the Met Gala. Okkkurrrttt! ! This years theme was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” and Jeremy Scott definitely didn’t come to disappoint the Fashion Gawds. Talk about “drip, drip”. The custom Moschino gown by Jeremy Scott, was covered in nearly 30 pounds of  pearls and jewels.  ..And lets get into this headpiece! Regal honey!  Needless to say, the gown quickly made headlines. Jeremy Scott attended alongside Cardi B, in a custom beaded suit. Peep the biker jacket silhouette infused with the tuxedo silhouette! Scott is beyond his years!!  If you have been living under a rock and haven’t seen the gown, take a look below! What were your thoughts on the custom gown?

The 20th Anniversary Collection

Alongside this epic Met Gala moment, Jeremy Scott released his 20th anniversary SS/18 collection. Yes 20th! 20 years and going strong! Jeremy Scott continues to push the envelope within the fashion industry. Going against the industry norm and embracing the pop culture in which we live. The collection was just as vibrant and fun as he is.  Scott blended classic sillouhettes with futuristic elements, such as classic logos on front hoodied dresses, and grafitti printed “Viva Avant Garde” pieces as inspired from his 1999 collection. Supermodel Gigi Hadid was the muse for the innovative mega 3D jeweled dress that Scott describes as “a Calder sculpture that kind of collided with a disco ball”. We can rest assure that Scott will continue to infuse his sense of humor and beaming personality in collections to come. Congrats to Scott on his 20th Anniversary Collection!!!
